Happy Trans Day of Visibility ❤
I want to remind everyone that visibility is is important, but it is also a privilege. It is dangerous for some trans folks to be visible and out. And as a community, we need to examine the ways in which the little visibility that we do have is not proportionate to the members of our community. I am talking about trans people of color, I’m talking about trans women and trans femmes, trans immigrants, nonbinary folks, and the intersections of these and other identities. Even though we are a marginalized group, that doesn’t mean that we are exempt from engaging in the oppression of other trans folks or in problematic behavior. And visibility is not enough. Stand up for the black trans women who are being murdered. Stand up for indigenous trans folks and recognize we live on stolen land. Center and listen to the voices of trans folks with less privilege than you. I am not trying to invalidate anyone’s experience, or condemn TDOV or those who participate. I just want to challenge our community to be better, because there is lots of room for improvement. Growth has no ending point

Don’t get it twisted. Taylor Swift keeps the people she surrounds herself with young and in their teens and early 20′s to confuse y’all but Taylor Swift is closer to 30 than 20. She’s the same age as Adele (1989), Hayden Panettiere (1989), Dakota Johnson (1989) and just one year older than Emma Watson (1990) and that’s hella weird because she doesn’t have their maturity level. You guys are seeing her with Lorde (1996), Serayah (1995), Selena Gomez (1992), Karlie Kloss (1992) etc. She’s grown who acts and wants to be treated like she’s a teenager. And the worst part is, I don’t see her changing. She’s going to 40 acting the same way.
